Admire Mexico at this amazing eco-archaeological park, situated ten minutes south of Playa del Carmen, this spectacular Riviera Maya theme park encompasses dozens of attractions and exhibits.

Like a giant aquarium, Xelha mixes salty Caribbean Sea with fresh under Ground Rivers, north of Tulum .Wooden bridges weave through the park to ancient Maya sites, caves, and cenotes.

Vibrant tropical fish, green-blue-yellow parrot fish, snapper and grouper make these lagoons famous among snorkelers. Sea trek Snuba, and dolphins programs are also conducted. Plop onto an inner tube and float down a river. Witness the wildlife. This is living.

Discover the archaeological sites

If local faces look familiar, perhaps it is because many are carved in the friezes of ancient temple and pictured in the pages of history books. With roots at least nine thousand years into Mesoamerica, ancient Maya civilization peaked around AD 800. But while its great cities eventually sank into the jungle, the Maya people did not. About 350000 still live and work right here on the Yucatan Peninsula.

The may created a brilliant civilization, with dense cities, splendid art, advanced mathematics, and complex calendars. Hieroglyphics recorded their history in stone. Archeologists catalog a hundred sites in Riviera Maya alone. The big ones  Tulum- Coba- Chichen Itza.

Tulum

Tulum is one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the State of Quintana Roo.Tulum was strategically built on a cliff over viewing the Caribbean Sea .It was built during the dying days of the Mayan empire, and was actually a fort. It's quite tame in comparison to the archaeological site of Chichen Itza, but it does have one overwhelming attraction.

Coba

The once great city of Coba, one of the most beautiful Maya ruins, is nestled by Yucatan's thick jungle and surrounded by exquisite lakes nearby, its name means water stirred by wind and started to become a major independent community at the time Roman legions were on their way to building an empire.

Chichen Itza

This site is one of the most impressive testimonies to the Maya-Toltec civilization of the Yucatan (10th To 15th centuries). It contains some of the most outstanding examples of Central America architecture, combining Maya construction techniques and Toltec sculpted decoration.
